Joseph W. Silbaugh, Jr. is co-founder and major investor along with Thomas Capello in Bank Realty and his is a major investor and developer of Real Estate. He is former director of four different independent financial institutions and developed several branch facilities. He is managing partner of numerous real estate entities that have owned and developed over $500mm of commercial and industrial real estate. He currently has in excess of $100mm in projects located in Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Delaware under development. He is presently developing 100 acres along Interstate 81 at Exit 85 for tourist related businesses such as an Amish & Farmers Market, Hotel sites, Restaurant sites and negotiating the access of public utilities to the area. He is the real estate developer for the Markets at Hanover a farmers market concept with a Brewery, Bar, 10+ restaurants, food court, combined seating of over 1500, new parking of over 500, an event venue and ballroom as well as a small business incubator. He has developed commercial real estate including shopping center and strip malls, housing developments townhouses and apartment complexes, industrial warehousing and self storage units. He has a CCIM experience for commercial and industrial real estate analysis for the purpose of investment and development and is currently a real estate developer. He retired from the United States Army at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His army experience in the procurement division provided invaluable experience preparing him for all phases of real estate development from obtaining necessary permits and environmental approvals, basic sub division and land plan, blueprints, budgets and the bidding process thru the actual construction and the eventual sale of the finished project. He was Chief of Procurement for Research and Development at AMCCOM. Mr. Silbaugh is also active in the state and local Venture Capital Organization, who sponsor and finance young and upcoming entrepreneurs.
