At TRI, Josh serves an essential leadership role in shaping the direction and growth of the firm’s Silicon Valley office and its expansion. As a player/coach he specializes in retail, handling multiple-site searches, dispositions for large national and regional tenants, sales, and acquisitions of investment properties.
Gispan has been an active retail investment and leasing broker in the Silicon Valley for the last thirty-three years. He has experience as an expert witness with litigation involving national tenants lease renewals and an extensive network of tenant contacts which also makes him an excellent landlord representative.
Before joining TRI he worked with Meacham/ Oppenheimer, Inc. for 27 years where he was one of the top producers. Representing major landlords in the valley in both dispositions of single-tenant and multi-tenant retail centers. In 2007, Josh became one of the three partners in the firm.
In 1987 Josh started his commercial real estate career at Norris Beggs and Simpson. His focus was on retail leasing and investment sales and was the San Jose region’s Top Producer in 1991.
Major Clients and transactions have included Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Alexander’s Steak House, Office Depot, 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Fitness, and numerous regional retailers. He is an active member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and 2017 received the CORFAC International Largest Retail Transaction award.
In addition to his management and brokerage activities, Josh enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with family. Other interests include Powersports, motorcycle tours, and classic car restoration.
