Bio
Josh has been helping people to buy & sell real estate here in The Sunshine State since 2005... He got started when the market was hot, but he had no clue what he was doing and unfortunately his broker was not exactly as helpful as he'd been promised (welcome to the reason why you rarely hear good stories about real estate agents). Thankfully, he is a smart and reasonably resourceful kind of fella... Even still, by the time he started to figure out the basics they were in a full-on real estate free-fall (Ack! This is NOT what he was expecting! Lots of expensive lessons learned, lots of metaphorically scraped knees, and now (to continue the metaphor) Josh can ride this bike like a champion! And that brings them to here... many - oh gosh, SO many - years later and he has done some cool things! Josh has helped hundreds and hundreds of people buy homes. He has been coaching and mentoring new agents since 2012. Josh had the opportunity to serve on board committees including the MLS Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Grievance Committee, and Professional Standards Committee. Josh has been awarded the title of ICON Agent with EXP Realty (approximately top 2% of the company - out of over 80,000 agents worldwide) every year that I've been aligned with EXP Realty - and am also a Certified EXP Mentor, ExpressOffers Certified, New Home Specialist, Certified Real Estate Investment Planning Specialist, National Commercial Real Estate Advisor, Certified for REO (foreclosure) Properties, Certified for Corporate Relocations, and many others. Most importantly, he has taught agents to not only create successful careers for themselves and their families, but to understand that what we do is so much more than that. They helped people transition. You see... very few people buy and sell homes "just because they feel like it"... they buy and sell homes because of some usually huge and stressful life event that is happening that causes them to want a shift in their living situation. Things like getting married, getting divorced, having kids, kids going off to college, new job, lost job, death, birth - all of which are SO much more important than "the house". Those things overshadow a home purchase/sale to the point that it almost becomes a distraction in comparison. And yet it's still the most expensive thing most people will ever buy or sell in their lifetimes. It needs to be managed properly, with care, and given the attention it deserves. It is the rock in your shoe that must get handled while you're trying to run a race. A good agent (like myself and those on my team), will take that shoe off your foot and handle that for you. You can trust that THEY'VE GOT THAT, so you can concentrate on what is important in your life right now and either.
