Bio
Joshua Meltzer joined Savills West LA office in 2008 where he represents clients with national portfolios and retail roll-outs across the country. Most recently, Joshua has opened offices for Compass Real Estate throughout the United States and continues to represent them in their national expansion.
Josh also has experience with co-leading the firm’s West Coast luxury retail division. In over a decade, Josh has honed his skills including market research and analysis, financial structuring, business development, site selection, portfolio management and lease negotiation. With these abilities, Josh develops strategic real estate plans that optimize the bottom line, utilize space efficiently and create an operationally flexible environment that tenants feel proud of and comfortable in.
As part of over five million square feet in real estate transactions, Josh has saved his clients millions of dollars in occupancy cost. His ability to work directly with his clients to understand exactly what they want and how their business operates is crucial in discovering and negotiating for the perfect location or expansion. Additionally, Josh can assist with lease renewals, dispositions and acquisitions, facility options, sales, joint ventures and build-to-suit alternatives.
Noticeable in some of Josh’s clients, his four years with the Television Talent Department for International Creative Management provided Josh with useful insight in the entertainment industry.
