Bio
I am a housing specialist realtor and private investor, and a tireless activist for our region's immigrant population and an advocate for affordable housing. In my real estate career, my focus is to serve as a bridge between the housing market and homeowners in the community. I have provided pro bono services to the immigrant community and served on former Governor McAuliffe's Virginia Latino Advisory Board, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Colombia Human Rights Committee based in Washington D.C. Native of Spain, but I grew up in Colombia where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in law; I moved to United States as a refugee in 2002, where soon I started my own business, eventually becoming a realtor in 2011 now licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. Recently, I was awarded as the winner of the fastest growing award over one million agents nationwide. I was a member of the Housing Commission in Falls Church City, for six years, serving as Chair for four years. I helped guide the Housing Commission to realize the housing needs for an inclusive City by defending the diverse makeup of City residents with a variety of incomes and cultures. In addition to my civic and professional activities, I am a dedicated husband and father.
