Bio
Real Estate Broker licensed since 1989. Experience in Multi-family, Agricultural, Office, Warehouse and Single Family properties.
Karen has been providing a superior level of informed, professional, and personal real estate services to buyers and sellers in the San Joaquin, Sacramento, Nevada, Placer and Sutter Counties
She grew up as a farmer's daughter in the midst of the agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley. After school and summers were filled with work involving peppers, onions, cherries and walnuts but also fun with friends riding mini-bikes, swimming, camping in the orchards and trips to Santa Cruz. She cherishes the memories made with her Italian grandmother while she worked side by side in the family's roadside fruit stand as it deepened her understanding of our culture and history. Her grandmother and mother both served as examples of how to be strong and brave and still love deeply.
Her husband Steve was her high school sweetheart! How crazy is that?! Steve is Vice-President of Pacific Coast Producers, a local cannery coop, and has been with the company for over 35 years. With her BA in accounting and a Real Estate Brokers License, Innovative Realty was born in 1992. Steve and Karen also raise and show Arabian Horses nationally and have their own walnut orchard (Karen guesses the nut doesn't fall far from the tree!).
Her career in real estate began while working part time in college for a property management company followed by residential sales and management and then working her way up to the Broker of a Commercial Real Estate Firm. Innovative Realty allows her to LOVE ALL real estate and utilize my past; farms and ranches, horse property, commercial, investment, houses and people! She has often joked that she should have named her company "Transitions" as that is what she is best at; helping people transition their life from one spot to the next.
