Karl Haussmann has been in real estate in Austin for nearly 20 years and has watched this city grow and change in many ways. His background and areas of expertise/experience include residential sales and leasing, commercial sales and leasing, and residential and commercial development. Prior to life in Austin, Karl worked in both international trade services and sports marketing in his native Chicago, Illinois.
Karl has built a practice over the last two decades that focuses on his desire to build long-term relationships with his clients, helping them before, during, and after their transactions. Prior to his career in real estate and after earning a Master’s degree in business from the University of Texas, he helped establish Livestrong, a foundation dedicated to helping people affected by cancer. As the foundation’s Executive Director, Karl guided the non-profit in raising millions of dollars in support of its mission.
Today, in his spare time, Karl is the volunteer President of the Kelly Davidson Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Married and the father of three children, he’s also still an avid cyclist and former professional triathlete.
