Keith Puritz is an Executive Director at Cushman & Wakefield and brings 30 years of commercial industrial real estate experience to the firm. During his career, he has closed more than $2.75 billion in sale and lease transactions. Keith has extensive experience and expertise in industrial property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, land transactions, investment sales and build-to-suit projects. Prior to joining the firm, Keith was at CBRE from 2002-2014 and Cushman & Wakefield from 1988-2002. Keith has earned a number of distinguished awards throughout his career. From 2002-2014, he was a member of CBRE’s top industrial team in Chicago. He was also honored as CBRE’s top industrial producer in Chicago four times (2002, 2004, 2005, 2009) and ranked second on seven occasions. He also ranked as Cushman & Wakefield’s #1 industrial producer in 2000 and 2001, and the firm’s “Top 100” for all brokerage professionals in the U.S. every year between 1995 and 2001. Keith has received several nominations for NAIOP Industrial Transaction of the Year, winning with colleague Brett Kroner in 2011 and 2017, as well as Industrial Build-to-Suit of the Year, Suburban Office Build-to-Suit of the Year, and Industrial Redevelopment of the Year. In 2005 and 2009, he was named Industrial Broker of the Year by the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and was a finalist for the same award five other times. Significant Assignments Mr. Puritz served as the account director for Procter & Gamble, responsible for acquisitions and dispositions for their U.S. industrial portfolio. During this time he was involved in 3.2 million square feet of build-to-suit transactions throughout the United States, including a 1.7 million square foot office/warehouse build-to-suit facility outside of Scranton, PA. He also served as the account director for Waste Management, overseeing the distribution of over forty surplus properties throughout the United States and Canada.
