Over a decade ago, Ken Mears began his career as a real estate professional, seizing a promising opportunity that marked the start of his journey in the industry. Prior to this transition, Ken played a significant role in helping companies navigate the then-emerging field of digital marketing, with a focus on search engine optimization. His work with local and regional businesses, including a local real estate firm, led to a defining moment when a broker-owner encouraged him to obtain his real estate license. Ken took this advice seriously, acquiring his license and laying the groundwork for a successful career in real estate.
Since then, Ken has gained extensive experience, deepening his understanding of the importance of maintaining the highest professional standards. Before joining Colliers International, Ken served as Vice President of the Commercial Division at a boutique real estate firm. In just three years, he was instrumental in transforming the newly established division into one of the most successful in the local market. Ken's specialization includes vacant land sales, as well as tenant and landlord representation across office, retail, and industrial asset classes.
