Kenneth N. Blomsterberg joined Marcus & Millichap in 1989 and has become one of the top Brokers in the Western United States, specializing in the multi-family market in Northern Nevada. Ken was promoted to Senior Investment Manager in 1998, Vice President Investments in 2008 and First Vice President Investments in 2009 and Senior Vice President Investments in 2015. Ken also serves as Senior Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi-Housing Group. During the course of Ken’s career, he has closed more than $2 billion in Commercial Real Estate Investments and has been acknowledged almost every year as one of Marcus & Millichap’s top agents: 1993, 1995, 2000 - 2009, 2012, 2014-2017. Ken was also nominated for Humanitarian of the Year in 1996 and 1997 by the Association of Commercial Real Estate Brokers of Sacramento. Ken was awarded the 2012 Reno Summit Awards for Investment Broker of the Year and Broker of the Year Overall and the 2013 Reno Summit Award for Multi-Family Broker of the Year. Ken was nominated for ACRE Sacramento Multi-Family Broker of the Year starting 1996 through present. Ken has been a guest speaker at various real estate forums and sits on the Board of Directors for the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Sacramento and Prevent Child Abuse California. Ken’s studies included Real Estate and Accounting at Los Angeles City College, Golden West College and University of California, Los Angeles.
