Kevin Geiger focuses on sourcing private capital in the southeast region in the multi-housing specialty. He is a senior member of the Atlanta Multi-Housing Properties Group.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Geiger has represented national, regional and local owners in transactions totaling billions of dollars of apartments primarily in the southeast U.S. These sales have involved various structures from traditional sales to transactions involving tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, partnership interests, and portfolio sales.
Several higher profile sales completed by his team include the sale of the 972-unit Morgan Falls Station Apartments for $56 million, the sale of the 695-unit AMLI at Sope Creek ($42.5 million) and the 632-unit Windsor at River Heights ($54 million). In 2002, he and his partners led the disposition efforts for a $600 million national portfolio on behalf of Archon Residential.
Mr. Geiger joined CB Richard Ellis in 1989 to assist in the underwriting and implementation of sales strategies for office, industrial, retail and apartment investment specialties. He began brokering properties during the summer of 1990. Since that time, he has been instrumental in re-building the Atlanta Multi-Housing Properties Group which now totals nine full-time team members.
