Bio
Kevin Tubbesing, CCIM, ALC, is a Kansas City business and community leader living in Shawnee, Kansas. Having served on the City Council and Planning Commission for a first-class city, Kevin’s valuable experience in development and land use comes with this perspective as well as that of an owner, developer and broker of properties. Following his service in the US Army/Reserve in the ‘90s, Kevin developed CIO, Inc., a technology infrastructure and support company which he then sold successfully in 2005. As a business owner Kevin was drawn to building equity and undertook the purchase and redevelopment of an abandoned gas station in 2001. Converting this property into an expanded, Class-B office complex, Kevin found his passion for real estate development services and refocused his career toward helping investors and business owners see their real estate investment find full potential. Kevin specializes in the brokerage and consultation of real estate positioned for development. Working closely with clients to clearly understand their needs, Kevin’s broad-ranging business experience is uncommon in real estate. He understands the fundamental needs of the customer and works with their business strategy to determine the appropriate real estate solution for their business. This leads to high close rates per contract and very satisfied parties on both sides of the transaction. Kevin is involved in many regional groups including serving as the 2012-13 District Governor of Rotary International in eastern Kansas, current Foundation Chairman of that Rotary District, Past-Chairman and current Leadership Council member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Kansas, a member of the KC Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM), and was selected by Ingram’s Magazine as one of Kansas City’s 40 Under 40. Kevin is the Past-Chairman of Wonderscope Children’s Museum, was named 2007 Kansas Small Business Champion of the Year, was a member of the 2008 Class of Leadership Kansas and then served four years on their Board of Trustees. In his spare time… Kevin spends time with his three beautiful daughters and lovely wife Dawn, and counsels young entrepreneurs how to strive for their dream. Kevin is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Kansas and Missouri.
