As the Founder & CEO of Platinum, Khashy oversees all company sales and investments, and charts the course for the firm's business ventures. His instrumental role extends to cultivating and nurturing relationships with developers, landlords, management firms, and key investors.
After a serendipitous summer experience thrust him into the heart of Manhattan's real estate scene, Khashy discovered his true calling as a young teenager. Over the years, Khashy has evolved into a fervent advocate for the power of human connection within the real estate domain. His unique philosophy transcends the mere act of transactions, emphasizing the profound impact of forging relationships, touching lives, and building trust. In 2005, Khashy’s unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled service eventually culminated in the inception of Platinum Properties, a boutique real estate firm strategically nestled in the Financial District of New York City that he founded with his sister, Dezireh.
In addition to providing luxury residential brokerage services, Khashy has expanded the firm's purview to also encompass commercial sales and leasing and even ventured into proptech investments through Eyn Holdings, an investment firm with ownership in multi-family buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn as well as investments and advisory seats in various proptech companies, all of which enables Platinum to continue to provide cutting edge, best in class service to its clients.
Khashy's impressive career is highlighted by over $5 billion in transactions, showcasing his exceptional skills in real estate. One remarkable achievement includes the remarkable 24-hour closure of a $9.9 million triplex penthouse apartment at The Continuum Tower in Miami Beach that sold again three years later for $25 million, a record on the East Coast at the time. Additionally, he has overseen a portfolio exceeding $2.5 billion in commercial transactions.
Among his notable transactions are the landmark $250 million sale of 116 John Street, and the leasing of 100 Vandam Street for an impressive $125,000 per month at $230 per square foot, marking the highest recorded residential lease in New York City. He also secured the highest per-square-foot rental penthouse lease in Tribeca at 1 North Moore, with an impressive monthly rate of $85,000. These accomplishments underscore his exceptional talent and expertise in the real estate industry.
Outside the world of real estate, Khashy's passions are driven by an unyielding desire to give back.
