Bio
Kim is a lifelong resident of Morgan County. After graduating from Monrovia High School, she attended Ivy Tech Community College.
She served as assistant manager in the Carpenter Realtors Mooresville office from 2001 to 2003, then opened the Carpenter Realtors Monrovia Office and managed it for several years. Kim stepped down as manager when she and her husband Dick Heald decided to form a team and work together to serve their clients and community.
Through her affiliation with MIBOR, Kim has served as Chair, Secretary/Treasurer, and a member of the MIBOR Foundation. She contributes heavily to her community through involvement in Morgan County MIBOR where she serves on several committees including charities, Christmas, and fundraiser events. Kim enjoys giving back to others by working with local charities and activities, including her charter membership in the Monrovia Lions Club.
Her highly successful real estate career started in 1987 and continues today. She has received numerous awards throughout the years including Listing and Sales Leader of the Year, Multi-Million Dollar Sales, and Medallion Awards. Nearest to her heart is having received her industry Realtor of the Year Award two times. Dick is from Plainfield and has enjoyed an assortment of careers, including service in the United States Marines and working with his family's milk transport business. He retired with 30 years of experience in the banking industry before ultimately joining real estate. Among many other contributions, he served 12 years on the Mooresville Town Council, 8 years on the Morgan County Sheriff's Office Merit Board, and is a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Eagles Club, and a charter member of the Monrovia Lions Club.
The Heald Team specializes in high-end homes, first-time buyers, some commercial, farms, and vacant land. Kim and Dick have been married since 1990. They have a combined total of 5 children their spouses and a gaggle of grandchildren, with whom they spend as much time as possible. People are routinely drawn to their caring nature, the same quality of character displayed in their dedication to personal and friendly service for clients. They are now serving the 3rd and 4th generations of life-long clients. They believe that the finest compliment a real estate agent can receive is a referral from friends and family.
