SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
* Led a real estate portfolio turnaround. Hired to turn around two underperforming properties. Retained a 3rd party firm to manage the properties and a disposition team to quickly sell the assets. Realized a net profit of $6M and redeployed proceeds to higher performing assets.
* Overcame a property management crisis. A building manager left the company with a major uncompleted commercial capital renovation project and an unhappy tenant base. Managed the property until a new employee could be hired. Hired an experienced building manager. Completed the project and stabilized tenant base.
* Realized positive ROI. The company had nonperforming land and an office project that had taken six years to entitle. A poor economy was looming with few tenant prospects. Permits were about to expire. Advised owner to commence construction in order to save on costs of labor and materials. Secured long term leases for 70% of space.
