While commercial real estate is Klete’s recent passion, he is also a 3-time Olympic swimmer medaling at every Olympics he attended. Klete’s long resume of professional swimming accomplishments include winning 2 gold medals in the 2004 & 2008 Summer Olympics. In Klete’s most famous swim, he held off a charging Ian Thorpe in the anchor leg of the 2 X400 meter free rely to win the race by 0.13 seconds. This was the first time Australia had been beaten in the event in over seven years.
As proven in and out of the water, Klete is a very hard worker and extremely driven. In fact, Klete uses the work ethic developed by his extensive athletic background to find scarce opportunities for investors and tenants.
Klete has a Bachelors of Science in Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
Outside of professional life, Klete loves getting deep into the mountains on skis, bikes (human and gas-powered) and boots. He’s also been spotted at a number of hot springs throughout Colorado working on his back float.
