Bio
Kristina Doliszny was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1996, she married Robert Doliszny and they have four children, Michael, Evan, Katherine, and Lauren. Having grown up with “sand in her toes” summering in Ocean City, NJ all her life, Kristina and her family permanently moved to Ocean City in 2001 to pursue their entrepreneurial goals.
Following in the footsteps of her parents, Kristina grew up immersed in international political relations, academic achievement, Ocean City small business sales and management, and real estate development. While attending Philadelphia’s Cardinal Dougherty High School, Kristina’s passion for politics and government opened doors for her in both the City and State political arena, earning her the esteemed International Leadership Award during her internship experiences in Washington DC. This opportunity resulted in her travels and academic studies abroad at Oxford University of England, Humboldt University of Berlin and the American University of Rome. The following year, Kristina was selected as a Pennsylvania State Representative for the United States Student Ambassador Program which resulted in her travel and academic studies in six European countries. But little did she know that her international academic achievement opportunities had just begun. After graduating with honors, she enrolled at Villanova University where she was selected as one of six students in the United States to represent our country in a prestigious United Nations undergraduate sponsored Fulbright Scholarship Program abroad. The UN-Fulbright Scholarship sent Kristina to the oldest academic institution in Eastern Europe, the Jagellonian University in Krakow. She joined representatives from virtually every country in the world to study and debate international foreign affairs and economic policy; participated in economic transitional programs for the governments of Eastern Europe; met with various international delegates and elected officials. She witnessed first -hand the fall of the Berlin Wall and the fall of communism and its financial collapse in seven Eastern European nations: Poland, Hungary, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, and Russia. Upon her return, she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree and graduated Cum Laude from Villanova University. Kristina is fluent in several foreign languages including Ukrainian, Polish, Russian and German.
Despite all her international achievements Kristina’s real passion remained in the areas of sales, marketing, creative concepting, small business growth and real estate development.
Kristina began her professional career in sales and marketing for Pfizer Inc (New York City) where she quickly rose through the ranks with both national and regional top-sales performance and rapid promotional achievements within the corporation. She quickly became one of the youngest female executives within the corporation with a career aim at managing Pfizer Europe. Her positions at Pfizer included Sales Representative; Institutional Sales Representative; Manager of National Sales Training; and District Sales Manager. During her career with Pfizer, Kristina managed $70-$100 million dollar product and budget portfolios; authored many “best practices” implemented by the company; launched several multi-billion dollar products including Zithromax, Norvasc, Zyrtec, Lipitor, Viagra, Celebrex, and others; and her sales, marketing, communication, and management skills resulted in consistent top level national performance and award recognition for 8 consecutive years.
After their first son Michael was born, both Kristina and her husband decided to transition away from the fast paced corporate life of New York. They moved to Ocean City, where they began their entrepreneurial pursuit of their true passion: small business and luxury brand development and opportunities in the Ocean City and South Jersey real estate markets.
It was no surprise that the daughter of two Ocean City small business owners decided to come home to her roots of traditional family values and the entrepreneurial spirit of which made our country so great. Kristina’s parents had operated several Ocean City Boardwalk and South Jersey small businesses since 1972; and owned an Ocean City landmark guest house, known as the Croft Hall Hotel. As a child, she grew up working and helping to manage several of her parent’s businesses, thus developing a strong work ethic, together with solid sales, marketing, and management skills from a young age.
