Kyla is a dynamic leader and strategist currently serving as the Vice President of Science + Technology Ecosystems at Concept Companies, a position she has held since July 2024. With a strong background in life sciences, Kyla is responsible for formulating and prioritizing strategic and operational goals for various life science programs, including the Momentum Labs based in Alachua and other locations across the United States. Her role encompasses program management, facilities oversight, recruitment and retention, daily operations, and strategic marketing for the graduate incubator, ensuring a seamless and productive environment for innovation. Before becoming Vice President, Kyla served as the Director of Science and Technology Ecosystems from January 2022 to July 2024, where she honed her skills in managing and standardizing programs within the organization. In addition to her responsibilities at Concept Companies, Kyla plays a pivotal role as an ecosystem builder, leading initiatives for The Convergence Research Park, fostering collaboration and growth within the scientific community. Outside of her corporate role, Kyla is the CEO of Three 7 Leadership, where she works as a certified coach specializing in executive coaching for female leaders and entrepreneurs. Since January 2020, she has focused on empowering women in leadership roles, facilitating coaching clinics, and developing organizational culture through her coaching approach. Kyla’s career also includes significant contributions as the Executive Director of the WT Enterprise Center in Amarillo, Texas, where she provided leadership for strategic, financial, and business development initiatives. During her tenure, she championed entrepreneurship in the region, co-founded the WIRE Accelerator, and launched the Revolution at 800 coworking space. Her extensive experience in entrepreneurship and ecosystem development has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to help startups and established businesses thrive. With a proven track record in leadership and a deep commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, Kyla continues to make a significant impact in the fields of science, technology, and leadership development.
