Bio
I was born in Mississippi and raised in Upstate, New York. I moved to Virginia in 1993. After a stint in college, I joined the Army Reserves in the nursing field. When working in the nursing field, I found that I genuinely enjoyed working with people, but management was my true calling. After several years, in many different managing fields, even owning my own ice cream shop, I found myself loving the multi-family industry. For the past 16 years, within the multi-family industry, I experienced everything from setting up a managing system to run a multi-family property, renovating a “Class C” property to a “Class A” property, managing more than one apartment communities to keep an occupancy of 97 – 100%, becoming more profitable than originally budgeted, creating, and developing a co-working office product, and the creation of the 1st Ecommerce Center brought to Hampton Roads. My overall dream from there was to get into the real estate field and become a Realtor®. Taking all, I have learned in the past, I know I have all the correct strengths to help me help other individuals in the real estate purchasing and selling process.
When I am not working in real estate, I am a part time nanny to a 2nd and 3rd grader, love working on interior and exterior projects at my own home, spending time with my family, scrapbooking, any kinds of crafts, and events that I can meet new people. I am a new grandmother this year and with even all the struggles COVID has brought, there has been some true blessings!
