Mr. Larry W. Sapp, President, began his professional association with Lincoln Land Development Company as a licensed real estate agent in 1975, followed in 1978 by attaining his Broker's designation. He was active in residential sales achieving the million-dollar plateau for several years. In 1981 when the firm went strictly commercial, learning from his father's experience he became active in commercial brokerage, leasing, and development.
After his formal education at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, Larry has earned many professional designations: Real Estate Securities License, Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI), member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), member of Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR), member of Springfield Board of Realtors, and a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), which is attended annually.
He also serves as an Area Director for Wings Etc., Hickory River Smokehouse, and The Spaghetti Shop, with territories throughout Illinois and the Midwest. Responsibilities include development by soliciting and selling to franchise owners, assisting in site selection, assistance during the construction phase, provides support through the training and Grand Opening phase, and provides on-going operational support with monthly audits.
Larry currently oversees the commercial brokerage and development of Lincoln Land Development Company and its affiliates. Larry and the professional team at Lincoln Land understand and are involved in all apsects of real estate brokerage and development.
