Lawnae Hunter is Principal Broker/Co-Owner of Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate in Bend and Redmond, Oregon. She is also Principal Broker/Owner of PLUS Property Management serving Central Oregon and California Central Coast. She has over thirty-five years experience in general real estate brokerage including land development, commercial and industrial land sales, new home sales, property management and general resale. She is knowledgeable in all phases of real estate. Ms. Hunter thrives in a dynamic and competitive sales environment with a strong understanding of the market and economic forces affecting Central Oregon and the state.
Ms. Hunter holds both a Oregon Principal Broker’s License, a California Broker’s License and has a designation as Certified Residential Brokerage manager (CRB) and as Certified Residential Specialist. (CRS). She also holds a designation/certification from the Graduate Realtor’s Institute, a distinction held by only nineteen percent of Realtors in the U.S.
Ms. Hunter’s accomplishments include developing and owning the largest regional real estate company on the California Central Coast. The company, Prudential Hunter Realty consisted of six offices and 170 sales staff. This company was acquired by a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate in 2003.
Her interest in economic forecasting lead her to found the Central Oregon Economic Forecast Project in 2008 and she remains the Board Chair of that organization. The Central Oregon Economic Forecast joins with the Center for Economic Forecasting (CERF) of California Lutheran University to present the annual economic forecast business conference in January of each year. The annual meeting is the premiere business and economic forecast event in Central Oregon.
Ms. Hunter has a number of prestigious award and accomplishments including 2011 Woman of the Year by The Source Weekly, Bend, Oregon. She was 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year and planning commission member in Santa Maria, CA, Woman of the Year 33rd Assembly District, and Board Member of Innovation Theatre Works (non profit, Bend) and currently is a Board member of Greater Bend Rotary and serves as Board Member of Co-Serve International servant leadership group.
