PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Layth has been self employed since 1993 when he founded Bravo! Coffee, a retail coffee house that he expanded to three locations. In 2002, he also became a Cingular Wireless franchisee with two stores and eventually sold them to join Insite Commercial Group in 2005.
Before 1993, Layth worked in the engineering industry first with Kelsey Hayes Brakes Division in Milford, Michigan. He then worked with General Dynamic Services Division in Troy, Michigan. As head engineer, he lead a team that created Technical Manuals for armored vehicles for various US military services.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
Layth Barash started with Colliers International in January of 2006 as part of the merger with Insite Commercial Group. He started with Insite in 2005 working mainly in the retail division. He represented both Landlords and Tenants/Buyers in leasing and in sales of commercial property, primarily in the retail sector. Layth continues his work with Colliers and has included other facets of the retail sector including investment, resturant and land sales. He has also worked with developers in ground-up projects helping in site selection, layout, and pre-construction leasing. Layth is also an active member of the Chaldean-American Chamber of Commerce, successfully helping organize and launch their firstr annual real estate conference.
Using his experience and established relationships from being a retailer himself, Layth has seen quick results in closing deals with local developers and property owners.
