Lee, a lifelong resident of York, has deep roots in the community. Growing up in their family's mechanic business, they developed a strong work ethic from an early age. Even as a young apprentice, Lee would carry a Coca-Cola crate to wash customers' car windshields, relishing the atmosphere of the service station and garage. These experiences not only taught them how to repair cars but also instilled invaluable lessons about business and human interactions.
When asked about who taught them real estate, Lee proudly mentions "Tommy Broom." While their father may be a mechanic by trade, he imparted essential business principles that contribute to any successful enterprise. The most important lesson being to genuinely appreciate and value the clients' business while striving to provide the best service possible.
With an impressive career spanning 29 years in real estate, Lee has served York County diligently. They have been a licensed real estate broker for 26 years, holding notable designations such as Graduate from the Realtor Institute (GRI - 1994) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS - 1998). Additionally, Lee obtained a state license as an auctioneer in South Carolina in 1995. Their dedication to professionalism has been recognized by the South Carolina Association of Realtors, receiving the Certificate of Professionalism twice (1993 & 1998). Lee is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club and the Awards of Excellence.
Married to their wife, Ann, for 35 years, Lee cherishes their relationship. They are proud parents to their 19-year-old son, Thomas, who brings immense joy to their lives. Lee can easily talk at length about Thomas, as he excels academically as a football player at Presbyterian College, consistently making the Dean's List while pursuing a business major.
As an individual deeply rooted in their faith, Lee has been a deacon in their Baptist church since 1984. They attribute their success in real estate not only to financial gains but also to the meaningful relationships with friends and family that the Lord has blessed them with.
