Entering the real estate business in Kinston, NC in 1983, Linda found what the career meant for her. She has always enjoyed helping others, so clients can imagine how excited she got over helping buyers find that first home. Then their families grew, and they needed larger homes, or they retired, sold their house, and moved to the Beach. Before she knew it, she was one of the top producers. She served as President of the Board of Realtors and got a few new subdivisions started.
Emerald Isle has been part of Linda’s life since early childhood, which was during the ferry days. She grew up vacationing here and as a teenager coming on the weekends. She knew one day she would live at the Beach. She married her teenage sweetheart, had two beautiful girls, and then they purchased their "dream place" at Emerald Isle. It was a mobile home, but it was a dream come true. A place at the beach will keep clients’ families together; it is a great way to spend more time with their kids and meet their friends.
After her husband died in 1994 and her kids were on their own, Linda moved to Emerald Isle (but they followed her) and started a new life and career with Century 21 Coastland Realty. Working at the Beach is such a fun market. She loves helping buyers find that perfect second home or just the right investment property. She especially loves when customers come back to her or refer a friend or family member. Among her achievements and awards, her favorites are for quality service and the Century 21 Centurion producer. She calls it her "Oscar."
When Linda is not working, she is playing. She loves spending time with her two grandchildren. Next to real estate, that's what she is best at. She also loves yoga, dancing, shopping, and reading on the Beach. Her work has enabled her to meet so many people and make so many friends. She loves what she does and always tries to do her best.
