Lisa Lia, Esq. is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida, and maintains real estate licenses in both states. With over twenty years of litigation and transactional experience, Mrs. Lia is able to view real estate deals through a unique legal lens and excels at negotiating, forecasting and managing legal risk. Mrs. Lia prides herself on her ability to think critically, to understand complicated transactions, and to provide innovative solutions to real estate challenges. Mrs. Lia is actively involved in the local real estate market, and regularly analyzes and advises on potential real estate investments.
A New York native, Mrs. Lia graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University and magna cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was an editor on the Law Review. As an associate at several prominent international law firms, Mrs. Lia practiced complex corporate litigation on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions. Mrs. Lia also served as an attorney for the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and then spent several years as a solo practitioner, where she put her superior skills to work for individuals and small businesses. The culmination of that experience, coupled with her strong work ethic and commitment to the success of every deal she touches, continue to serve her clients and development partners well.
