Lisa Zufelt has resided in the North Kitsap area for over 30 years, currently living in the historic town of Port Gamble with husband Scotty and their German Shepherd puppy Shadow.
Lisa was born in Homer, Alaska into a commercial fishing family. Her dad sold his boat, the F/V Lisa Denise, and they moved to Anchorage for a few years and then down to property on the Hood Canal. Staying true to her Alaskan roots, she is a fan of “Deadliest Catch” and has been to many fan events and met the captains and crew. She has even been able to tour the Northwestern and Wizard fishing vessels from the show while docked in Seattle.
Lisa loves all that the Northwest has to offer. Her favorites are hiking their local trails with her puppy, fishing and crabbing with her husband in their original Captain’s Landing boat, and kayaking in Hood Canal.
Prior to being a Broker with John L. Scott, Lisa had an 18-year career in Banking, most recently with a Commercial Lending team in Kingston. She has always been fascinated by real estate and notes there are many similarities between the two fields.
Lisa has a natural knack when it comes to working with buyers, she can hone in on their wants and desires to find a match for them. She is now a business partner with Jan Zufelt and they have formed a team along with their assistant, Kathy Page. The team name is “Zufelt & Zufelt: The Kingston Real Estate Specialists”. They have systems in place that make the buying and selling of a home easier for their clients. Lisa’s contributions are priceless, she can navigate the team’s social media needs as well as relate to the Millennial buyers that are now moving into their area due to the passenger only ferry.
