Luca Barber serves as Senior Managing Director of Development in Nashville, Tennessee. His responsibilities include managing all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design, financing, and disposition of Mill Creek communities. Since 2010, Mr. Barber has participated in more than $3.5 billion of commercial real estate transactions and has a professional background in mixed-use development, acquisitions, and multifamily investment sales.
Before joining Mill Creek, Mr. Barber was the Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for Lincoln Property Company in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time at Lincoln, he worked on various mixed-use developments, including Nashville Yards, a 15-acre urban redevelopment in the central business district. He was also responsible for acquiring stabilized assets and potential development sites.
Before joining Lincoln Property Company, Luca worked with MetLife Real Estate Investors in Atlanta, Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, D.C., and Roseland Property Company in the New York Tri-State area.
