Bio
Luke is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with extensive commercial real estate investment and brokerage experience. Prior to founding CAL Capital Partners, Luke was a director, partner, and first full-time employee at Rubicon Point Partners, a San Francisco-based commercial real estate private equity firm. During his tenure at Rubicon, Luke bought and sold 19 investments totaling over $1B in total capitalization, asset managed 1.5M square feet throughout the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest, and portfolio managed three separate accounts with a cumulative AUM of $300M. Prior to starting at Rubicon in 2012, Luke was a broker at Newmark’s Silicon Valley office for 3.5 years. During that time, he was involved in 30 investment and lease transactions totally over 2M square feet with a total consideration of $200 million. Luke has a business degree from Chico State and is an MBA candidate from Pepperdine University. Luke is an active angel investor, an Advisory Board Member to the Chico State College of Business, and member of NAIOP’s Bay Area chapter. He currently lives in Lafayette, CA with his wife, son, and two dogs.
