Lynn Holcomb began his career in the real estate industry as a sales agent with Fishman Commercial in 1987 and became a full partner with the Company in 1997. Although most experienced in industrial market development, Lynn has a solid working knowledge of all facets of the real estate industry, including construction and land development, as well as sales and leasing experience in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. Lynn was recognized by the Johnson County Board of Realtors with an award for the "Most Commercial Transactions" for two consecutive years. Lynn holds to heart the theory that "We're really not sales people - we're here to provide a service." As such, Lynn well understands the direct correlation between profit and loss and can put himself in the position of the buyer or the seller. He not only has a solid working knowledge of the real estate industry, but most importantly, operates from a base of integrity. It is that level of integrity which results in the fact that many transactions are repeat clients. Licensed in both Kansas and Missouri, Lynn has a substantial list of local, regional, and national clients. Quite simply, Lynn is seen as a guy with a good common sense approach to business because, "You are not selling property, you are providing people with a tool to make a profit." Lynn is an active investor in a number of real estate partnerships which hold a variety of properties that include retail, office, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, as well as raw land development. He is a current member of Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors and received his SIOR designation in 2010. Lynn is a former bank Board member of one of the area's more active commercial real estate lenders. Prior to joining Fishman Commercial, Lynn was with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 13 years, a career that ended at mid-level management. It is there that he honed his skill as a "problem-solver." As manager of approximately 60 employees, he took seriously his responsibility for maintaining a seamless work flow and pleasant work environment. Lynn is married with two children.
