Founder and President of Diamond Life Real Estate, a real estate investment company based in Jacksonville Beach, Mal Washington bought his first home in 1992 in part because he hated having a rent payment. He often says his love of real estate began while playing monopoly with siblings. Regardless of when and how, his love for everything real estate still exists today.

Before becoming a full-time real estate investor, Mal traveled the world playing professional tennis on the ATP Tour for 10 years and spent the next 20 plus years announcing tennis for various networks.
Recognized by the National Association of Realtors with its Good Neighbor Award, Mal is also the founder of the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, an after-school and summer tough development program in Jacksonville’s urban core that promotes academic achievement and positive life skills.
