Bio
Maranda Adams’ entrepreneurial spirit has been a driving force behind her real estate endeavors. She combined her rich background in international finance, real estate, and preservation and she founded a real estate investment company focused on rebuilding communities. Maranda saw first-hand the economic impact of real estate on communities, so she centered the investment company around the preservation of high-risk real estate in blighted and sub-standard areas. In August of 2018, she co-founded a 100% woman-owned construction and real estate services company, Blair Freeman.
A native Houstonian, Maranda decided to leave the south and go to college in the Midwest. She earned a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. After college, she traveled around the US and lived back in Houston. She quickly decided the small/big city of Omaha is where her family wanted to call home.
Maranda is well-connected and passionate about staying actively involved in the community she loves and lives in. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Rose Theater, Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP), Abide and the Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity. She is a voting member of I Be Black Girl Omaha (IBBG), CREW Metro Omaha and The Omaha Chapter of The LINKS Inc and was recently a recipient of Midland’s Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award.
Maranda is married to her college sweetheart, Titus. Together they stay busy raising their five children Titus II, Traeson, Tucker, Marlee and Tobias. She loves traveling and collects playing cards from the different cities and countries she visits.
