Bio
Marc Lipschitz is a seasoned veteran of the San Diego real estate industry with over 28 years of experience. After earning a BA in Business Administration at the University of San Diego in 1989, Marc began his career at Voit Real Estate Services where he worked in commercial real estate for 21 years, earning the title of Senior Vice President. To date, Marc has leased and sold over three million square feet at a value that exceeds $1 billion. He continues to dominate the owner-user market in representing companies looking to acquire commercial buildings.
In October 2010, Marc expanded into residential real estate in order to offer his clients a unique full-service hybrid approach to address all of their real estate needs. In 2012, Marc joined Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty La Jolla office, where he was a top producer with over $50M in residential sales. In fact, his first residential transaction was an $8M sale in La Jolla–the largest sale in La Jolla for a one-year period.
In May of 2014, Marc joined Canter Brokerage where he has been a driving force behind the growth of the division by taking a leadership role in their new Bird Rock location. His proven track record in commercial real estate provides a professional, analytical approach for his residential clients. Marc prides himself on his fiduciary obligations to clients, always representing their best interest and operating at the highest ethical standards. His savvy negotiation skills ensure that clients will not be leaving money on the table when Marc represents either a seller or buyer.
As a native of La Jolla, Marc has been able to successfully leverage his extensive network and strong relationships within the community. Repeat clients and exemplary referrals drive a large portion of his business, reflecting his superior negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal relationships. Marc currently serves on the board of directors for the California Innocence Project. The California Innocence Project is a law school clinic, founded in 1999 at the Western School of Law, dedicated to freeing the innocent, training law students and changing laws and policies in the state of California. The California Innocence Project has freed many innocent people from prison, trained hundreds of outstanding law students who have gone on to become excellent attorneys, and changed multiple California laws to improve the justice system. We are a founding member of The Innocence Network and have helped organizations throughout Latin America
