Marc Resnick, founder and owner of The Beantown Companies, is an entrepreneur with decades of success in property development and management in Greater Boston.
He graduated Boston University in 1984, earning a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Finance. Within a few short years he entered the housing industry by starting his own construction company in 1986. In 1988, he purchased his first properties and never looked back.
What followed was a long and productive journey through the ups and downs of the Boston housing market. Marc began by operating primarily in student neighborhoods like Allston, but has expanded his oeuvre to include low- and high-end residential units, condominium associations, and commercial spaces of all shapes and sizes. Along the way he developed an unparalleled knowledge of the Boston market and an excellent reputation among the residents, contractors, and investors he encountered along the way.
Today Marc owns and manages hundreds of properties spanning Cambridge, Newton, Somerville, Allston, Waltham, Framingham, and more. He has developed over 400 units since 2000 and continues to undertake new projects all over the region.
