Mark Barberich serves as Vice President of Construction in the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Barberich has more than 30 years of construction management experience on various project types and since joining Mill Creek, has managed approximately $350 million in new construction equating to over 2,000 new apartment homes.
Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Barberich assumed construction and operational responsibilities in a variety of executive positions for both private and public real estate development groups in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. He has significant for sale and rental housing experience. He was responsible for over 1,500 homes and numerous multifamily projects in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Responsibilities included design development, budgeting, bidding, contracting, scheduling, and day to day management of construction activities and team.
Mr. Barberich holds a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from St. Vincent College. He has served on multiple committees for the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association, Frederick Community College Curriculum Advisory Board & Christmas in April.
