Mark Denholm joined ProEquity Asset Management to significantly increase the firm’s investment sales / brokerage presence where he plays a hands-on role representing both buyers and sellers across all asset types. Mark also assists in underwriting investment and disposition opportunities for clients nationally. Mark began his career at CB Richard Ellis in 2005, earning Rookie of the Year honors. Mark then was a founding partner of Core Commercial in 2008, a commercial real estate investment and leasing platform. At Core, Mark was responsible for the servicing the firm’s clients investment sales and acquisitions across California and Nevada for all product types including retail, multi-family, office, and nationwide single tenant net leased assets. Mark has regularly been recognized as one of the top investment sales brokers by the Associate of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE). Mark is a veteran broker in the Northern California region participating in over $1.5B in sales transactions over his career. He credits that success to persistence, responsiveness, compassion, humility, and always putting clients’ needs above all else. Mark is a graduate of Cal Poly, SLO in 1991 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Mark later earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He and his wife Judi, now empty nesters, have three children. Mark coached his two boys throughout their baseball careers until they began college, and he also served on the board for the Oak Ridge High School Foundation. During their free time, Mark and Judi enjoy riding their e-bikes, following their boys around the country as they continue their baseball careers, and supporting their daughter who is currently studying nursing.
