Bio
With nearly 30 years in the real estate industry and a masters in real estate investment analysis and appraisal, Mark is one of the area's most experienced commercial real estate professional, he has assisted in managing 9,000 apartment units, and helped raise equity capital to acquire more than 4,000 apartment units, office buildings, shopping centers and other commercial developments.
Mark began his career in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a real estate market and feasibility analyst, studying more than 70 geographic markets for prospective development. He also was responsible for merchandising five new apartment complexes and supervising day-to-day management of thousands of units. In 1975 he began working in commercial real estate Brokerage, handling multi-family, office, retail and industrial properties. He joined DSI in 1992.
Mark is a member of the Realtor® Association of South Central Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Realtors® Association, The Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. In 1981, he earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Mark also is a NASD-registered securities representative. With his diverse experience, Mark especially enjoys addressing complex real estate challenges, such as portfolio diversification, real estate value enhancements, and tax-deferred exchanges.
