Bio
Mark Magers, born and raised in Missouri, grew up around the Commercial Real Estate business. His grandfather was a local banker and his father spent his career as a Commercial Real Estate developer.
Baylor University drew Mark to Waco in the mid-90s. Baylor was not only a catalyst for Mark’s education but was also where he met his wife and deepened his faith. After graduating from Baylor with a BA in Communications, Mark continued his education and received his Associates Degree as a Registered Nurse from McLennan Community College.
Mark has had a diverse career in the service industry. He brings experience as a Registered Nurse – working for both Hillcrest and Providence Hospitals, as well as providing emergency relief services to Indonesia, Haiti and Libya each after natural disasters.
He spent five years working with Antioch Ministries International’s Waco office. Mark used his operational skills to help build a new team during a period of organizational growth. He also developed a training curriculum and executed numerous staff development training.
Mark and his family have lived internationally for a total of nine years. He helped start a business in North Africa and most recently was the director of a non-profit organization in Portugal. Over the past five years, one of Mark’s many roles was property manager of two homes that were a part of a retreat ministry for pastors and missionaries.
Mark is excited about this new chapter in life, settling his family back in Waco and engaging in the world of Commercial Real Estate. He looks forward to serving his clients with his attention to detail and heart to serve others with excellence!
