Mark co-founded and acts as the managing partner and Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Rock and Eagle Rock Management. Eagle Rock Management and its investors own and manage approximately U.S. $400 million of multifamily properties. Mark has over 20 years of direct hands on experience owning and managing multifamily real estate. Mark oversees the review, selection, analysis and acquisition of Eagle Rock and its affiliates’ portfolio, including investor relations and financing options. He also is an investor in numerous other real estate projects and regularly advises his clients in connection with their real estate deals. Mark acts as the manager or managing member of over 15 real estate companies and has extensive experience in dealing with and addressing challenges, issues and opportunities. In 2010, Mark received the Multifamily Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year award presented by the Young Jewish Professionals. Mark is also a founding partner of Meister Seelig & Fein LLP (“MSF”) and is a member of MSF’s Executive Committee. MSF is a commercial law firm based in New York City with additional offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and California. An experienced business lawyer, Mark was named in Super Lawyers Magazine as being in the top 5% of business lawyers in Manhattan in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. During over 20 years of legal practice, Mark has personally negotiated hundreds of contracts and business deals. Mark utilizes these skills and experience for the benefit of Eagle Rock and its affiliates to negotiate all aspects of a deal, from acquisition contracts to financing arrangements. In 1986 Mark graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts and in 1989 received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as the graduation speaker and was Articles Editor of the Law Review. He was formerly associated with the international law firm of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance) in New York and California. Mark resides in Westchester, New York with his wife and three children.
