Originally trained as a property appraiser and insurance agent, Mark Sinclair became a home inspector in 2007. Mark had heard from friends who were buying homes to renovate that many local inspectors were not doing an adequate job; these friends were finding problems during their renovations that should have been caught during the inspection. Mark had also heard contractors complain about untrained inspectors and inaccurate inspection reports. Sensing a need for exceptional property inspection services in the Tallahassee region, Mark sought out professional, hands-on training from National Property Inspections and purchased a franchise. He has since gone on to establish his own inspection company, Cornerstone Real Estate Inspections, LLC, which sets the standards for other Tallahassee home inspection companies to follow.
