Bio
A Chartered Surveyor, Martin has over 30 years experience in the commercial property sector. His extensive range of experience includes working Client side and in Private Practice for small specialist practices and large multi-nationals such as Savills.
Acting as a specialist for national and international occupiers in the Manufacturing, Science and Logistics sectors, Martin has led acquisitions, disposals and complex development Projects in the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe.
Providing Corporate Real Estate advice to his Clients across acquisition, disposal and rationalisation of property assets, Martin is fully
conversant with the key business and operational drivers that
influence locational decisions.
He has been engaged by major international Companies including HSS Hire Services, Dow Corning, Robert Bosch, TNT, Volkswagen Group,
Henkel UK and CEVA Logistics Limited.
Martin has also been involved with a number of significant leasehold acquisitions. These recently include circa 27,000 sq ft of office accommodation in Trafford, Manchester, a rail-linked NDC for CEVA Logistics, and other office and warehouse acquisitions in excess of 3.5 million sq ft across the UK, Ireland and Europe. In addition, Martin was instrumental in the acquisition and disposal of 80 trade counter, logistics and retail units for HSS across the UK and Ireland. Due to the extreme shortage of available existing buildings across the UK, Martin is also currently advising a number of Clients on Build to Suit solutions.
As an APC Chairman for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Martin interviews candidates in the final stage of the RICS qualification process. He is also a visiting lecturer at The University of Westminster.
