Matthew George joined Newmark in 2020 and currently serves as a Senior Managing Director in the firms Boston office. A 28-year real estate veteran, George has advised and transacted on over 3 million SF of leases (office and lab) totaling over $800 million in value between the Boston and Cambridge markets. In addition to leasing, George’s real estate expertise includes asset management, repositioning, under-writing (acquisitions and dispositions), construction management and property management.
Prior to joining Newmark, George worked with Lincoln Property Company, Cushman & Wakefield, Equity Office, and most recently, Cresa Boston. His multifaceted background brings a valuable set of resources to complement the Newmark platform.
