Matt Phillips co-leads the Capital Markets Multifamily Group sales platform in Houston, TX. Working alongside Clint Duncan, Matt focuses on identifying multifamily investment sales and financing opportunities for the Houston-Gulf Coast region, which correspond with his client’s interests and requirements. He was ranked as one of CBRE's Top National Producers in 2018. Prior to joining CBRE in 2016, Matt was co-founder and managing partner of National Apartment Advisors where he specialized in multifamily brokerage. He has been involved in selling real estate in Texas since 1999 and has focused specifically on multifamily assets since 2003. Throughout his career, Matt has been directly involved in over $2 billion in multifamily transactions. With a Bachelor of Business Administration/Marketing degree from Texas Tech University, Matt is also an alumnus of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas. In addition, Matt is an Eagle Scout and an active volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo serving on the Mutton Bustin’ Committee.
