Bio
Matt serves as the President of Property Management for Model Group. Currently, he oversees the property management and leasing for the company, which operates under the name Model Properties. He plays a pivotal role in the cultivation and revitalization of the Cincinnati neighborhoods of Pendleton, Findlay Market, and Walnut Hills. He oversees both residential and commercial properties, leads commercial leasing and tenant improvement work, and assists with retail strategies for Model Group.
Matt started out as a development intern for Model Group in 2008. Following his internship, he spent 4 years working in development. He then transitioned into property management in 2013, managing both the market rate and affordable housing in Model’s portfolio. In 2018, he became the Vice President of Property Management and today oversees a growing portfolio of 321 residential units, 68 commercial units, and has managed over $10 million in tenant improvement work to date.
Matt is very active in local civic organizations, currently serving on the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce Board and previously served on the Board at The Emanuel Center, also in Over-the-Rhine.
