As Corporate Managing Director, Matthew Dickson assists companies with aligning their business objectives and optimizing real estate. Operating out of the firm’s Houston office in the Central Business District, Matthew helps companies of all sizes reduce costs and maximize the effectiveness of their workspace. A veteran of more than 15 years in commercial real estate, Matthew provides the local insight, as well as in-depth trend analysis, in determining which office or plot of land will be advantageous for his clients. Additionally, his background working with companies across many different industries enables him to provide innovative workplace strategy so that his clients can get the most productivity, motivation and ROI from their real estate decisions.
Prior to joining Savills in 2019, Matthew spent over 14 years working for CBRE as a member of its Houston office. While there, Matthew progressed as a broker to the role of first vice president. His extensive background in Houston gives him a wealth of local market knowledge, as well as awareness of national and global patterns in real estate. Additionally, Matthew built up his client base by working with companies in acquisitions, dispositions, sale leasebacks, relocations, data centers, build-to-suits and more.
As a broker, Matthew is an advocate for his clients throughout every stage of the transaction process. A tenant-only representative, he also guarantees each client that he will tenaciously help them achieve the maximum value and flexibility through his negotiation strategy.
In 2010, Matthew was named a NAIOP Rising Star Award Winner. He serves as a volunteer member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble Committee.
