With more than seventeen years of related experience, Matthew Dolly is employed by the firm as the Vice President of Research, where he will create the annual research plan for the New Jersey office. As a part of growing the research platform, Mr. Dolly will deliver insight to demonstrate knowledge related to economic activity, forecasts, trends and commercial real estate market conditions, develop and maintain relationship with clients providing them with market intelligence. Additionally, Matt will work with marketing teams and sales professionals on business development efforts through new pitches, RFPs and presentations, and develop relationship with Avison Young counterparts regionally and nationally, local research experts and economic development agencies. At the firm, Mr. Dolly puts his aptitude for statistical analysis, research and marketing to use in order to better service the needs of the firm’s growing client base. Mr. Dolly is recognized throughout the commercial real estate industry as a leading provider of research and statistical information. He has provided editorials and quotations for newspapers including, but not limited to, the Star-Ledger, The New York Times, The Home News Tribune, The Bergen Record and the Daily Record. In addition, Mr. Dolly’s views of the commercial real estate market have also been presented in several real estate publications and websites such as Real Estate New Jersey, Real Estate Forum, the New York Real Estate Journal, Real Estate Weekly, the CoStar Advisor, Globe Street and New Jersey & Company. Matthew has also written commentary for the Urban Land Institute’s Market Profiles Report. Prior to joining the firm, Mr, Dolly was employed by Colliers International’s (formerly First Service Williams and GVA Williams) regional office in Parsippany, NJ where he assembled and disseminated all market research for the company and coordinated all corporate and client marketing efforts. He was responsible for the preparation and coordination of market reports, proposals and presentations. Mr. Dolly’s role also consisted of the management of the following internal functions: providing consulting services for clients in major site selection requirements, developing relationships with local and State economic development, producing marketing materials, creating demographic and location maps and updating and manipulating the company’s internal databases. Mr. Dolly was employed in a similar role as Director of Market Research at the Sitar Company/ONCOR International. Prior to that, he held the post of Client Services Manager at CoStar Group and Real Estate Data Analyst at Petrie Retail. .
