Maura Bilafer is Managing Director and Head of Multifamily Operations for the CBRE Strategic Partners fund series. Maura leads a team responsible for execution of the firm’s value-added strategy in the Americas.
Ms. Bilafer has more than 27 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, she was Senior Managing Director at Greystar (formerly Riverstone), ensuring that clients’ operational, occupancy and operating income goals were met. She oversaw a portfolio of apartment homes in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Active in the multifamily industry since 1988, Maura has expertise in lease up and stabilized residential communities, financially and physically stressed assets and mixed-use communities. Prior to serving as Senior Managing Director at Greystar, Maura served as Eastern Division President for Riverstone Residential Group. She previously served as Vice President at Trammell Crow Residential Services, Senior Regional Manager at NHP/AIMCO, Asset Manager at NHP and Analyst at Boston Financial Group.
Ms. Bilafer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.
