After graduating, Max moved to Israel, and volunteered as a medic for ambulances for six months. He then, having dual citizenship, was enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces, where he served in a special forces unit for three years, from 2012-2015. While in the military, Max and his team served in Operation Protective Edge and received distinctions of excellence and a purple heart. Max then came to New York, where he got his degree in Financial Economics from Columbia University, graduating Cum Laude. Max went and worked at JPMorgan Chase in New York in a rotational program, starting as a business manager in the Commercial Bank and then as a Controller in the Investment Bank specifically working closely with the distressed debt and loans trading teams. He then went into Management Consulting at a firm called Reference Point. He worked on major M&A, Data Management, and Compliance projects with Morgan Stanley, Freddie Mac, and E*Trade. After a couple of years Max made the jump to commercial real estate with Landmark Equity Properties, now known as KW Commercial Landmark.
