Mr. Tekle has been with Ezra since the fall of 2006 where he works as a financial analyst to assist the Ezra brokers in their investment analysis and operating expense reviews. His background in real estate has served as a tool in understanding the complexities of the lease audit process.
Mr. Tekle is a native of Springfield, Virginia, where he was raised and attended grade school. He is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech where he got his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance. He was licensed in Virginia in 2005 and worked for Long and Foster during college. He has been a realtor for two years and currently holds his license with Keller Williams Fairfax Gateway. Owning several rental properties in South Carolina and Virginia, Mekonnen has been a real estate investor since 2004 and his passion for real estate exudes at the commercial level with Ezra as well.
Mr. Tekle played collegiate rugby at Virginia Tech and at the high school level with West End Rugby, and he is captain of his APA pool billiards team.
