Michael A. Curis is the President of Curis Enterprises, a Detroit-based real estate development and management firm. He is also the President of Curis Big Boy’s Inc., which owns and operates two Big Boy restaurants in metro Detroit. He has earned numerous civic achievements including two Spirit of Detroit Awards. His community accolades include Police Commissioner in the City of Highland Park, Board membership on both the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation as well as the Jefferson East Inc. and a recent gubernatorial appointment on the Belle Isle Advisory Committee.
