With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing, Michael is a highly regarded commercial real estate broker on the Dave Stubbs Real Estate team. His extensive knowledge and expertise have made him a trusted figure in San Diego’s coastal suburban markets. From 2011 to 2016, Michael's office, industrial, and retail sales and lease transactions exceeded $100 million. In addition, since 2010, he has been involved in the acquisition of over $30 million in triple net leased transactions. In 2003, Michael earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certification, a prestigious designation held by only 5% of commercial real estate brokers nationwide.
Michael is highly experienced in both bank foreclosed and non-performing note purchase opportunities, often working with FDIC-related entities. He also specializes in 1031 exchanges and the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net lease properties. His diverse portfolio of transactions includes high-profile projects such as Champions of the West Plaza, a 67,000-square-foot award-winning build-to-suit development in Del Mar Heights, and Harborside Golf Center in downtown San Diego. Additionally, Michael has handled site selection and sales responsibilities for Coca-Cola Enterprises in San Diego County for over 25 years, site acquisition for Palomar Station, a transit-oriented mixed-use development in San Marcos, and the site acquisition for Creekview, a freestanding medical/business office park in Vista. He has also facilitated NNN lease acquisitions and transactions for investors seeking superior fixed-income returns.
When Michael is away from the office, his friends and family take center stage. In the summer, he can often be found on the tennis court or at the Del Mar Turf Club enjoying the races. During the winter, he enjoys skiing throughout the Western Rockies and Canada, and he always returns to San Diego in time for the offshore fishing season.
